The K123 Gas+Airline Thread Sealant by Förch is a versatile and high-strength adhesive used for sealing and securing screw threads. It is particularly effective against gas, water, hydrocarbons, oil, liquid gas, and numerous chemicals. This green-colored sealant eliminates the need for traditional sealing materials like hemp, PTFE, or solid sealants and provides a secure hold that can withstand a wide range of temperatures. Due to its high strength, the sealant can only be released with special tools or heating up to +300°C. It has a viscosity range of 2500–4000 mPas and a density of 1.1 g/cm³, offering reliable performance in industrial applications.

It offers temperature resistance from -55°C to +200°C and can fill gaps up to 0.3 mm. The breakaway torque is between 28 to 36 Nm, while its shear strength as per DIN 54452 is 15 to 25 N/mm². The product achieves touchable consistency in 20 to 40 minutes, functional consistency in 6 to 12 hours, and final consistency in 24 to 36 hours. It can handle a maximum thread size of M56 or 2 inches.
