Install
Installing the Fleetguard HF6711 Spin-On Hydraulic Filter:
1. Ensure equipment is safely turned off and hydraulic system is depressurized.
2. Locate the hydraulic filter housing and remove the old filter by unscrewing it counter-clockwise.
3. Clean the mounting base and remove any residual debris or contamination.
4. Apply a light film of clean hydraulic oil to the gasket of the new filter.
5. Screw on the HF6711 filter by hand until the gasket makes contact with the base, then tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn.
6. Re-pressurize the system and check for leaks.
